This describes a device which is as new. The original packaging may have been opened or the security seal broken. Some open box items (typically components) are excess stock from our manufacturing warehouse and as such may be bulk packaged or loose. Regardless of the packaging, these items will be as new, with any remaining manufacturers warranty.
Unless stated otherwise, all refurbished items on the Encore website will be classed as Grade B.
This describes a device which is very clean and of a desirable quality. It should be in nearly new condition with no noticeable scrapes or scratches and absolutely no dents or damage. Every element of the hardware is functional with no known faults in the system.
The device will be clean with few small scratches on the casing which are barely noticeable. No scratches on the screen or speakers. All system hardware is fault free and in working order.
The device is still in clean and tidy condition but has signs of use. Some small scratches and/or dents on the casing are permitted but nothing that affects the function of the machine. No damage to the screen and no faults with any of the system hardware.
The device may have several scratches and/or dents to the casing with some scratches on the screen. No dents or scrapes on the screen. The hardware of the system still functions.
The device is FAULTY. The device/s are damaged or unusable. This includes smashed screens, faulty hardware, and surface damages. The machine will not work but still has all parts present.

All orders go through a rigorous pre-delivery inspection before we install your chosen operating system. We aim to dispatch all orders within the timescales stated above, however, there may be times where this is not possible (eg. Components, chargers, accessories fail QC checks, BIOS password restrictions). In these cases, we will dispatch your device as quickly as possible without compromising on quality
All orders are dispatched using a next working day service with FedEx. In most cases, delivery takes place the next working day, however, as with all delivery services, there is a risk that orders may be delayed in transit. FedEx provides full tracking and allow you to reschedule your delivery or provide delivery instructions through their website and mobile app.
Stone Group/Encore are not responsible for any delays that occur once the item has left our warehouse.
Next day delivery is only available on orders of less than 10 devices. If you need more than this on a next day service, please contact us by phone, email or live chat prior to placing your order.
Orders placed over weekends or Bank Holidays are processed the next working day.
During exceptionally busy periods, these delivery times may change. If there are any delays, you will be informed of this during the checkout process.
We only ship to addresses in the UK.

But if for some reason you are not fully satisfied with your system, we would like to give the opportunity to work with us to try and get the issue resolved as soon as possible. We would like to ensure that your full customer service experience has been a positive one and we hope this leaves you feeling happy with the service given.
14 DAY RETURNS
You can return an item to us for a refund/exchange within 14 days from the day after your order was delivered. Once you have told us you want to return an item, you should do so without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel the order. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but to obtain a full refund you must not start using them, install them or input any data/software. The goods must be returned in ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging. Your device must be returned with all the accessories that came with it, any free gifts or promotional items and ideally the original packaging.

Please note: If you do change your mind about a product, you are responsible for paying the return postage. We strongly recommend that you use an insured and tracked service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery or Collect+.
Please ensure that you include your original order number. Any refunds will be processed once the goods have been received back into our warehouse and checked by our team.
Once you have sent your order back to us, please provide us with the tracking information.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT & WARRANTY INFORMATION
Your computer comes with a 90 Day Return to Base Warranty, so in the unlikely event that a fault occurs within your first three months, we will send a courier to collect your machine from you before collection make sure all data is backed up as we are not liable for any data loss, repair/replace any faulty components and return the device back to you (once repaired) using a next day courier service at no extra cost. You can extend your warranty and support cover up to one year. The one year extended RTB warranty can only be purchased at the same time as your device.

If a fault occurs within 90 days from the date of delivery (or within 1 year of purchased RTB warranty), we will send a courier (either FedEx or DPD) to collect your device from you. We will try to repair the item in the first instance, repairing or replacing any faulty components and we would then return the device back to you (once repaired) using a next day courier service at no extra cost.
If we are unable to repair your device for any reason, we would then offer to replace your item for a like-for-like device. If we are out of stock of this item, we would then offer you an alternative or a device of your choosing, up to the value that you paid for your original order.
Any software packages (I.E Windows 10 Pro or Microsoft Office) that are purchased with your order are non-refundable due to these being added extras/upgrades. Your Microsoft Office package are redeemable, as this will be added to your account, so can be used on another device. We will deduct this from the price of your order when returned to us.

Open Box products come with a 12 month warranty. Where the remaining manufacturer warranty is less than 12 months, Stone Group will honour the shortfall, up to 12 months from the date of purchase.
Warranty Covers all technical and hardware faults but will not cover user damage, if the item is purchased without an operating system we do not offer driver/Operating System support. Modifying your device in any way including carrying out home upgrades will invalidate any warranty. Warranty claims will not be accepted where the warranty seal has been broken.
